Vandals destroy Leominster Little League backstop, costing thousands in damages
Briefly

The community in Leominster is outraged after vandalism destroyed a Little League baseball field's backstop, leading to a $3,000 repair estimate. The league, led by coach Rob Lora, expressed heartbreak, noting the destruction hampers children's ability to play. As the investigation proceeds, the league must relocate games while repairs are made, which could take several weeks. Lora emphasized the malicious nature of the act, underscoring that it ultimately harms the kids rather than the league or the park itself.
Thank you to whoever thought it would be a good idea to help us redecorate!"
They did something very malicious to hurt the kids. They knew that. It was not throwing a cone, they took the action of ripping it apart, ripping it all out and they knew what they were doing.
You're not hurting us, you're not hurting the park, you're hurting the kids because they can't use that facility. So, it's heartbreaking.
