Today on Pinstripe Alley - 2/1/25
Briefly

As February arrives, baseball fans reflect on the long stretch without games, heightened this year by the absence of winter distractions. With March approaching, hopes are lifted as pitchers and catchers prepare to report, signaling the advent of the new season. Excitement builds around the return of exhibition games and the anticipated Opening Day on March 27th. Additionally, the article highlights various contributions planned for the month, including discussions on offseason moves and historical game reflections, promising a lively baseball discourse ahead.
As Josh noted a couple days ago (the 59th of January, I think), this past month has felt so, so long, and aside from the beauty of LIDOM, we didn't even have any baseball to distract us.
Now at least, we have the promise of pitchers and catchers reporting soon, and though that doesn't mean much, hey, February is the shortest month.
Peter Brody will run through general manager Brian Cashman's offseason and offer up his first poll of the year, Matt Ferenchick will remember, as he perfectly puts it, a 'New York-Boston slopfest from 1914'.
There will be exhibition games, and Opening Day on March 27th will be just around the corner.
