Additionally, 15 minor-league players elected free agency, with the list spanning pitching, catching, infield and outfield prospects. Notable minor-league departures include Adam Kloffenstein, Robinson Pina, Joe Mantiply, Eloy Jiménez, Dasan Brown and Buddy Kennedy. Kloffenstein was a 2018 third-round pick, part of the 2023 trade package for Jordan Hicks, and posted a 2-9 record with a 5.66 ERA and 1.59 WHIP in 90 2/3 innings after returning on a minor-league deal. Pina was acquired from Miami in late June and made his Blue Jays debut in early July.
