The Reds have sent right-hander Brett Kennedy outright to Triple-A Louisville, after he was designated for assignment and reinstated from the injured list without appearing in an MLB game.
Kennedy, a strike-throwing pitcher, maintained a low walk rate while struggling with a high ERA in the Triple-A setting, making him a depth option for the Reds who may seek another MLB opportunity.
