Orioles Outright Forrest Wall
Briefly

Forrest Wall has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk after being designated for assignment just days after being claimed by the Orioles.
Wall has a solid major league slash line of .311/.380/.422 in limited playing time, although his Triple-A performance is less impressive with a .269 batting average.
Despite his lack of power and defensive reputation, Wall displays great speed, evidenced by four seasons of 35 or more stolen bases in the minors.
With a history of successful base stealing, Wall could serve as a designated pinch-runner for the Orioles during the stretch run if they choose to reselect his contract.
