Miami Marlins trading Jake Burger to Texas Rangers in team's first big move of offseason

The Marlins are reportedly trading corner infielder/designated hitter Jake Burger to the Texas Rangers. In return, the Marlins are receiving three prospects from the Rangers.
Burger, 28, has been one of the Marlins' steadiest hitters since joining the club at the 2023 trade deadline, hitting .265 with 38 home runs in 190 games.
