Major League Baseball has announced the suspension of free agent pitcher Julio Urías through the 2025 All-Star break due to violations of the league's Joint Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Policy. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred confirmed that after a thorough investigation, it was determined Urías had breached this policy, making him the first player to face a second suspension for such violations. He will be eligible for reinstatement from the restricted list on July 17, 2025.
