Teoscar Hernández reported to Camelback Ranch slimmer and ready to take on a new role in the Dodgers' three-peat pursuit. He acknowledged playing through a nagging left groin injury that forced him to miss time and hampered his midseason effectiveness. Hernández said he was overweight in 2025 and focused on improved nutrition and harder offseason work to return to his typical 204-205 pound range and restore his mobility. His 2025 statistical declines included fewer games, home runs, RBI, batting average, on-base percentage and OPS. Manager Dave Roberts expects Hernández to bounce back and remain a key run producer.
