Dodgers to re-sign World Series hero Miguel Rojas to 1-year, $5.5 million deal
"No-brainer. Rojas had already stated earlier this year that 2026 would be his final MLB season, and there was no doubt the Dodgers would bring him back - especially after his World Series heroics. He gets $5.5 million ($1.5 million less than I predicted in my Offseason Plan post) and, according to the report, will remain in player development following his retirement. Perfect. No notes. Instead, I'll leave you with a montage of Rojas videos from the 2025 World Series."

Miguel Rojas signed a one-year, $5.5 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers for 2026, his announced final MLB season. The deal follows a Dodgers $10 million option exercise and will pay Rojas $5.5 million, $1.5 million less than previously predicted. Rojas will retire after 2026 and remain in the Dodgers organization in the player development department beyond 2026. Rojas produced multiple key plays in the 2025 World Series, including a Game 7-tying home run, a game-saving plate play, a Game 6-ending double play and a notable barehanded play. The signing follows expectations given his World Series heroics.
