"Really good,"
"Zyhir, he's one of those guys that obviously put himself on the radar last year. We're going to be hearing a lot more about him. If you can put together a young player with the makeup and skillset, he's the guy."
Front office executives participated in the MLB Pipeline Executive Poll predicting 2026 Rookie of the Year winners. JJ Wetherholt received 30.2% of the vote, followed by Nolan McLean at 25.6%, Konnor Griffin at 16.3% and Bubba Chandler at 7%. Zyhir Hope tied for fifth among National prospects with 4.7%, alongside Justin Crawford and Sal Stewart. Hope was acquired by the Dodgers from the Cubs before 2024. In 127 games across High-A and Double-A he hit .266/.376/.428 with 29 doubles, 13 homers, 80 RBI and 27 stolen bases in 544 plate appearances.
