Clayton Kershaw will serve as a pregame analyst for NBC during the coming season as NBC takes Sunday Night Baseball and Wild Card broadcasts. Anthony Rizzo and Joey Votto will also work as pregame analysts. Kershaw retired late in the 2025 regular season after an 18-year career solely with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He won an MVP, three Cy Young awards, three World Series titles, a Gold Glove, and collected 11 All-Star selections. He recorded over 3,000 strikeouts and posted a 2.53 career ERA. Kershaw plans to play for Team USA in the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Dodgers president Andrew Friedman has invited Kershaw to return in a role where he could "hang out."
