Alabama Crimson Tide outfielder TJ McCants was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 16th round of the 2024 MLB draft, marking the sixth and final Alabama player chosen this year.
McCants transferred to Alabama after starting his college career at Ole Miss. He moved from shortstop to the outfield and had an impressive season with a .306 batting average, 17 home runs, and 53 RBIs.
