Bobby Miller, Dodgers optimistic after comebacker scare
Briefly

The Dodgers' Cactus League opener against the Cubs was marred by Bobby Miller's head injury, caused by a line drive from Michael Busch. Miller was diagnosed with a concussion but showed positive recovery signs, reporting no fractures and good spirits. Manager Dave Roberts emphasized that while Miller missed practice to follow concussion protocols, they remain optimistic about his return. The incident poses challenges for Miller, who is aiming to rectify a disappointing previous season during Spring Training.
Little bit of a headache, but there's no fracture, he slept fine, feels much better today than he did yesterday, said Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.
He's just going to sort of lay low but he feels very confident that he can pick up his throwing program soon.
He certainly escaped in a lot of ways, Roberts commented on Miller's fortunate condition following the incident.
I think we're all hopeful, I'm not certain because I'm so familiar with the concussion protocol, but I'm sure he's hopeful we can get back on.
