Barry Larkin, a Hall of Famer, has joined the Orlando Dreamers as an MLB ambassador in their quest to secure a Major League Baseball franchise in Orlando. Co-founded by the late Pat Williams, the Dreamers are focusing on attracting an expansion team as MLB plans to increase its franchises. Larkin expressed excitement about being involved in bringing baseball to Orlando, highlighting the city's compelling market potential. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred is also working towards expansion, possibly finalizing new host cities by the early 2030s.

It became immediately apparent that Orlando has the most compelling market in the country to be the next MLB franchise location.
