The Angels are close to signing right-hander Zach Plesac, according to a report from Robert Murray of FanSided.
Plesac then took a major leap forward during the shortened 2020 season. The right-hander posted an incredible 2.28 ERA that was 96% better than league average by measure of ERA+ and a strong 3.39 FIP.
