The first six picks of the 2024 MLB Draft will be awarded to teams via the lottery. All clubs that did not qualify for the postseason this year and still have a first-round pick are eligible for the 2024 MLB Draft lottery. The Oakland Athletics (50-112), Kansas City Royals (56-116) and Colorado Rockies (59-103) finished with the three worst records in baseball and each have an 18.3% chance to receive the top overall selection in the 2024 MLB Draft.
