Former Servite High coach Troy Thomas is set to attend the NFL draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin, at the invitation of his former player Mason Graham, alongside fellow draft prospect Tetairoa McMillan. Both athletes, who excelled during their tenure, are anticipated to be first-round picks. Their positive influence and athletic achievements have earned them recognition and respect, with Thomas praising their character and durability. Despite the intense competition, Servite achieved a notable feat by competing in the Southern Section Division 1 championship, highlighting their strong athletic program.
"It's exciting for them and their families. Both were great young men and represented Servite in such a positive way," Thomas said.
"They check every box. High character, durable," Thomas said.
Once a year in the NFL draft, there's a reminder how multi-sport athletes are embraced.
"I'm very excited for both," Thomas said.
