Eric Ramsay has urged Minnesota United players to respond after an unusual draw against Sporting Kansas City, where they squandered a three-goal lead. Despite a promising start with goals from Hassani Dotson and Tani Oluwaseyi, defensive lapses allowed Kansas to equalize late. Ramsay highlighted that the team's concentration and decision-making faltered. Meanwhile, LA Galaxy, still searching for their first league win, face their own struggles at the bottom of the Western Conference after a series of poor performances, though optimism about improvement remains among the players.
The reality is they scored three goals in quick succession from very little, and that comes down to concentration, decision-making and execution around the box.
We as a collective have to look at ourselves in a really harsh way there, because there's almost an inexplicable drop-off.
Greg Vanney's side are bottom of the Western Conference standings, while they have conceded the joint-most goals (eight) in the division so far this campaign.
I think obviously, it's only a matter of time before things start to click in the squad.
