Smigiel finished with over 250 passing yards and threw five touchdown passes, leading Newbury Park to an undefeated season and solidifying his position as a top quarterback prospect.
Three of Smigiel's touchdown throws were to Shane Rosenthal, who set two records during the game, achieving 49 career touchdown receptions and 270 career receptions.
"Getting the win is the most important thing," Smigiel emphasized, highlighting teamwork as key to their success this season.
Rosenthal said, "I credit all my coaches for putting me in the best positions... if I find a way to get open I know he'll find me."
