My aunt left right away, so that has haunted me. I missed my uncle's funeral, the uncle I had such fond memories of.
Yokomi's friend George Teraoka stated, 'All his earthly endeavors touched each one of us in so many ways.'
During World War II, Yokomi and his family were sent to a prison camp in Jerome, Arkansas; Yokomi later served in the Army before returning home to start his business.
