Neverland Ranch in Santa Ynez Valley was threatened by the Lake fire. Crews used bulldozers to create fire lines and aircraft aided in fire suppression efforts.
Firefighters, aided by favorable weather conditions, managed to prevent the fire from reaching Neverland Ranch and nearby properties, including wineries and a high school.
