The San Jose Fire Department put out a 45-acre fire near Communications Hill in San Jose on Wednesday evening. Firefighters had the fire under control by 9:14 p.m. No structures were destroyed in the fire, and there were no injuries.
More than 40 firefighters were on scene to mop up the blaze. Fire crews stayed on scene until the fire was completely out. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
