Jesperi Kotkaniemi extended the lead to 3-0 following a K'Andre Miller assist and a huge Bussi save. The Kings fought back with goals from Trevor Moore and Andrei Kuzmenko to make it 3-2 by the second intermission. Carolina ultimately won 4-3 in overtime to remain undefeated.
