Reid Detmers strikes out 14, Angels score walk-off run on errant throw to sweep Rangers

Reid Detmers recorded a career-high 14 strikeouts while allowing one hit and one run through eight innings, lowering his ERA from 5.07 to 4.57. In the ninth, Oswald Peraza grounded into a fielder’s choice, but Justin Foscue bobbled the ball and Jake Burger couldn’t cleanly handle the throw, letting Donovan Walton score the winning run on an errant throw.
