According to a new poll, criminal law attorney Nathan Hochman leads significantly over incumbent Los Angeles County Dist. Atty. George Gascon, with Hochman receiving 45% of likely voters' support.
George Gascon's negative image is evident; 21% of voters view him favorably, while 45% hold an unfavorable opinion. In contrast, 35% view Hochman positively.
The poll conducted indicated that 60% of respondents believe public safety has worsened over three years, with only 5% feeling it has improved.
Despite the lead, Hochman remains relatively unknown, with 57% of surveyed voters having no opinion of him compared to only 34% for Gascon.
