Seventy-five firefighters responded to a fire outside and inside the century-old Pacific Dining Car property. The cause, suspected to be debris or trash, is under investigation.
The restaurant, closed in 2020 due to the pandemic, was a renowned spot for politicians and entertainment industry elites. It was considered a legacy business akin to Musso & Frank Grill.
