With the Southern Section football playoffs set to begin, officials at Oxnard Unified are assisting families impacted by the Ventura County wildfire.
Principal La Belle noted that many in the community, including staff and students, have been directly affected by the fires.
Despite the disruptions caused by the wildfire, Camarillo is hosting a playoff game and supporting other teams with practice facilities.
Due to evacuation orders, several Camarillo players are unable to attend scheduled practices ahead of the important playoff game.
