His wife, Michele Singer Reiner, was a photographer, and they were found dead in their Brentwood, California, home Sunday afternoon. Nick Reiner was taken into custody Sunday evening. His Tuesday appearance was postponed because medical reasons prevented him from being transported from jail to the courthouse, according to the Associated Press."

Authorities allege he personally used a knife as a dangerous and deadly weapon.
