The curfew, beginning at 8 PM and lasting until 6 AM, covers a one-square-mile area and has prompted complaints about disrupted public transport, leaving many commuters stranded. Locals expressed frustration, highlighting city officials’ apparent lack of awareness regarding the challenges faced by downtown residents who need access to work and transportation. No military presence was reported during these tensions.
