Residents of Pacific Palisades have faced a 'do not drink' order since January 10 due to carcinogenic contaminants detected in their water supply, following a nearby wildfire. In response, the LADWP has launched a Water Quality Restoration Dashboard for residents to monitor the cleanup progress. This tool offers information on flushing contaminants, maps of affected areas, and restoration status in 113 service zones. Recently, some residents were granted permission to use tap water again, demonstrating progress in the remediation efforts.
The Palisades Water Quality Restoration Dashboard will provide residents with regular updates on the cleanup process and let them know the status of their tap water.
