Hyeseong Kim added onto expanded Dodgers roster

Hyeseong Kim was activated off the 10-day injured list and added to the expanded Los Angeles Dodgers roster for September. He went on the injured list July 29 with left shoulder bursitis after playing through the injury, which compromised his swing and results. Kim began a rehab assignment Aug. 21 and played nine games with Triple-A Oklahoma City, going 11-for-34 with a double, a triple and three RBI. He has hit .304/.338/.406 with six doubles, one triple, two homers, 15 RBI and 12 stolen bases with the Dodgers. The team considers Kim an option for left field, though he has not played that position since 2020 in the KBO.
Both players are currently on the Dodgers roster, and the team now has Kim back for the first time since he went on the injured list July 29 because of left shoulder bursitis. Kim had been playing through the shoulder injury for at least one week, and it clearly compromised his swing and in turn results at the plate. The 26-year-old didn't begin a rehab assignment until Aug. 21, and went on to play in nine games with Triple-A Oklahoma City.
During his time with the Dodgers, Kim has hit .304/.338/.406 with six doubles, one triple, two home runs and 15 RBI. He additionally has 12 stolen bases without gettin caught.
