Dodgers' Japanese Players to be Honored With Mural in Torrance

"This mural is intended to celebrate the greatness that these foreign-born players have brought to this community and [Japan's] friendship city ties to Torrance. Torrance has the largest Japanese population in North America and this mural is intended to foster #Unity and serve as a cultural bridge from Los Angeles to Japan."

"Specifically, the mural will show Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Roki Sasaki. The mural is scheduled to be unveiled on March 24, and on Tuesday, Vargas posted a video of himself in action, working hard, painting away at a face while stories above the hotel's parking lot."
