Clayton Kershaw will retire after the 2025 season, ending an 18-year career with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He made his final regular-season start at Dodger Stadium recently, allowing two runs in 4.1 innings against the San Francisco Giants and finishing with a strikeout as fans gave a prolonged standing ovation. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts led a champagne toast that also recognized the team's 13th consecutive postseason berth. Kershaw thanked fans, called the period the most impactful of his life, and noted raising four children in Los Angeles. At Dodger Stadium he compiled a 117-42 record, a 2.26 ERA, a 0.99 WHIP, 1,651 strikeouts and a 2014 no-hitter.
