Chargers reveal two new alternate uniforms
Briefly

The Los Angeles Chargers introduced two new alternate uniforms, "Charger Power" in all gold and "Super Chargers" in navy. The Charger Power uniforms debut in Week 7 against the Colts, and the Super Chargers in Week 8 against the Vikings. Additionally, new powder blue pants will complement home and away jerseys. The all-gold jerseys commemorate the 'Air Coryell' offensive era, marking the first time the team has featured a gold jersey. Players expressed pride in the new designs, which celebrate team history and fan spirit.
The all-gold Charger Power uniforms will debut in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts, while the all-navy Super Chargers threads will debut in Week 8 against the Minnesota Vikings.
This is the first time in team history the Chargers have worn a gold jersey. 'Charger Power' is stitched on the neckline in powder blue, and the white numbers include a similarly colored blue outline.
The all-gold design is meant to channel the energy of Hall of Fame coach Don Coryell's offensive scheme known as 'Air Coryell.'
A.G. Spanos, the Chargers' president, noted that the 'Air Coryell Era' was a revolutionary time in Chargers history, characterized by top offensive performances and playoff appearances.
