California will mandate electric school buses. But rural districts say they don't work

"The last thing we want to do is have kids stuck on the side of the road in a dead electric bus. Especially in the snow," said Lassen Union High School District Supt. Morgan Nugent.
"We want to do our best for our environment. We live up here in the mountains. We want to see our resources protected. But we have to be realistic," said Supt. Morgan Nugent.
