The body of the missing 15-year-old swimmer, Aayan Randhawa, was discovered floating near lifeguard tower 3, two miles away from where he vanished.
Despite the official search being halted, local teams continued efforts until the body was located, with condolences extended to the family and friends.
Aayan's mother described him as a 'shining star' who loved the beach, during a candlelight vigil attended by over 100 people.
Search operations involved various agencies, with divers, sonar-equipped vessels, and helicopters deployed due to challenging conditions like rip currents and high waves.
