Opening in May 2025, The Standard, Brussels, will occupy a revamped World Trade Center tower. With 200 guest rooms, it will feature three restaurants and bars, including a rooftop venue with stunning views. This new entry in the brand's portfolio follows successful launches in London and Ibiza, as it aims to fill a gap in the Brussels market for unique dining experiences and vibrant social spaces. According to Amar Lalvani, the hotel will bring distinct color and personality to the city.
"The Standard, Brussels, aims to stand out, bringing color, personality, and few great hangouts to the Belgian capital."
"Brussels is less obvious, and it's actually kind of personal because I used to live in Brussels," says Amar Lalvani, the president and creative director of Hyatt's lifestyle group.
