Over 120 women entrepreneurs participated in the 'Elevator of Dreams' event in Shoreditch, London, to pitch their ideas ahead of International Women's Day. Organized by Aila Money, the initiative, led by Richard Branson and Simon Squibb, aimed to address barriers women face in entrepreneurship. With statistics revealing that women lead less than 20% of UK businesses and receive minimal venture capital, the event served to inspire and empower female founders. All pitches were shared on HelpBnk for networking, and Virgin StartUp will offer support to top pitches to further enhance their entrepreneurial journey.
