Nancy Pexton, 69, is on trial for the murder of her sister Jennifer Abbott, who was found dead in her Camden flat on 13 June 2025. Abbott had a fatal neck wound and was discovered with gaffer tape over her mouth. Pexton allegedly visited Abbott on 10 June, after which she claimed to have taken an overdose. Prosecutors state there is no evidence Abbott was alive after Pexton's visit. Abbott's body was found after a neighbor forced open her door due to concerns about her dog.
