UFC London: Carlos Ulberg Feels Win Over Blachowicz Would Merit Title Shot
Briefly

Carlos Ulberg, an undefeated light heavyweight fighter, prepares for a pivotal match against Jan Blachowicz at UFC London. With a seven-fight win streak, Ulberg's victory could lead him to a title shot, although a potential rematch between Ankalaev and Pereira could affect opportunities. At the media day, Ulberg expressed respect for Blachowicz, highlighting his strategic fighting style and acknowledging that beating a former champion would be a significant achievement. He remains optimistic about his approach, indicating a readiness to face the challenge head-on.
"When you look at it you've got someone who's on a seven-fight win streak, the most in the light heavyweight division so far," replied Ulberg.
"He's smart, he's a chess player, and that's the way I'm going to view it," said Ulberg about Blachowicz's fighting style.
"It would be an honor to compete with (and beat) a former champ," Ulberg expressed during the media day.
"Can Ulbeg do what those talents could not? We'll just have to see on Saturday night, but I come with a different approach," Ulberg stated.
