Tickets Alert: Attend the Lady Mayor's lecture at the Guildhall
"Moving the conversation on social mobility out of the boardroom and into the mainstream, the Lady Mayor Dame Susan Langley will set out her ambition to connect people with opportunity and "unsquare" the Square Mile: ensuring nobody has to fit in a certain box to thrive in the UK's financial capital."
"Joined by an expert panel, she'll ask how we can change people's view of the City and break down barriers that might hold people back from fulfilling their potential."
Gresham College hosts an annual Lord Mayor's lecture, a tradition established in 2010 that alternates between Mansion House and the Guildhall. This year's event takes place in the Livery Hall, a grand historic space restored in 2008 after serving as a museum from 1872 to World War II. The Lady Mayor Dame Susan Langley will address social mobility, aiming to connect people with opportunity and challenge exclusionary practices in the Square Mile. She will discuss how to change perceptions of the City and remove barriers preventing individuals from reaching their potential. An expert panel will join the discussion. Free tickets are available for the April 13th event at 6pm.
