Briefly

Teddington RNLI, celebrating its 200th anniversary in 2024, saved three lives last year and responded to 113 callouts with a total of 130 launches. The volunteer crew conducted 102 water safety events to educate the community and completed 193 lifejacket checks. The charity celebrated its milestone with events, including a special service at Westminster Abbey. Lifeboat Operations Manager Matt Allchurch praised the dedication of the volunteers who have been crucial to the charity’s life-saving mission and plans for future events in 2025.
The achievements of all of our crew whether rescuers, educators, safety team, fundraisers, or advisors are commendable.
Every member of Teddington RNLI is a volunteer. They give their time, expertise and often sleep for the good of our community.
