"Counterterrorism police are leading the investigation into the arson attack, which is being treated as an antisemitic hate crime at this stage."
"Commander Helen Flanagan, head of Counter Terrorism Policing London, expressed hope that the arrests demonstrate the police's commitment to bringing those responsible to justice."
"Since this appalling attack last week, we have been working continuously to investigate and identify those responsible, she said."
Three individuals, aged 20, 19, and 17, were arrested in East London for conspiracy to commit arson related to an attack on ambulances. The incident involved four ambulances from Hatzola, a Jewish community service, set ablaze last Monday. The investigation is being led by counterterrorism police and is classified as an antisemitic hate crime. Previous arrests included two men, aged 45 and 47, who have been released on bail. Police aim to reassure the Jewish community of their commitment to justice.
