TfL confirms 'genuine' report ofparanormal activity seen on the Tube
Briefly

Transport for London (TfL) disclosed that there has been just one genuine report of paranormal activity across its vast transport services in the past two years. This report involved a distressed 15-year-old boy at King's Cross station in December 2023, claiming he saw 'ghosts.' An extensive Freedom of Information (FOI) search yielded 156 results, yet most pertained to non-paranormal contexts, indicating that concerns about ghosts are largely unfounded in TfL records. No paranormal reports were found for other services like Trams or the Elizabeth line.
Senior FOI Case Officer Gemma Jacob stated, 'We have carried out a keyword search of all London Underground incident reports over the requested timeframe... The search returned 156 results, but only one of them related to paranormal activity.'
A distressed 15-year-old boy reported seeing ghosts at King's Cross on the Metropolitan line in December 2023, marking the only genuine claim of paranormal activity in TfL's records.
TfL's FOI request revealed that despite numerous searched keywords related to paranormal phenomena, the majority referred to light-hearted instances, such as being in good spirits.
