Sir David Jason reveals 'secret' role he played on iconic BBC comedy sketch show
Briefly

Sir David Jason, famed for his role as Del Boy in Only Fools and Horses, recently disclosed a lesser-known fact from his career. In his autobiography, he reveals that he provided the notorious 'raspberry' sound for the character known as the Phantom Raspberry Blower on The Two Ronnies, a popular sketch show that ran from 1971 to 1987. This character, often misattributed to Spike Milligan, made its iconic appearance in a 1976 serial, showcasing the comedic talents of Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett. Jason’s revelation adds a new layer of appreciation for his versatile contributions to British comedy.

The hit UK series Only Fools and Horses ran for 22 years from 1981 to 2003, following the Trotter brothers in their questionable get-rich-quick schemes.
