Sadiq Khan admitted that the mayoral elections will effectively become judgement day on the popularity of his transport policies such as the Ulez.
Mr Khan acknowledged the importance of clean air, discouraging car travel, building cycle lanes, and expanding Ulez, with the outcome to be seen on May 2.
Sadiq Khan affirmed his support for low traffic neighborhoods (LTNs) and emphasized the aim for people to walk, cycle, use public transport, and drive clean cars in London.
Despite opposition to the Ulez expansion, Mr. Khan remains firm on the decision, considering clean air a matter of social and racial justice that Londoners should not tolerate.
