A planning application has been lodged with Louth County Council for a major residential development on George's Street in Drogheda. The proposal by Urban Life GSD Limited would construct 60 housing units on lands at the corner of George's Street and Trinity Gardens. The site includes Nos 26, 28, 29, 30 and 31 George's Street and lands known as Swan Yard. Existing buildings and structures would be demolished, including five vacant dwelling houses, a domestic garage, and associated outbuildings.
