Hard-Fi, formed in 2003, achieved remarkable success with their debut album, 'Stars of CCTV,' which topped UK charts and earned numerous accolades. Following two more albums, the band went on hiatus in 2014 due to label pressures and personal challenges faced by members. They reunited in 2022, demonstrating resilience, and released a new EP in 2024, showcasing their continued relevance in the music scene. The more extrovert elements of being a frontman didn't always come naturally, so at times I was playing a larger-than-life character. I wasn't that confident performing.
There was so much pressure that I didn't get a chance to stop and soak it in. After our third record, the label said: We're not going to make another album with you.
