Oxford Street between Orchard Street and Great Portland Street will be closed to private motorised vehicles, buses, taxis, private-hire vehicles, cycles, scooters and pedicabs during pedestrianised hours. Service and delivery vehicles will be allowed access from midnight to 07:00. General traffic will use alternative routes; general traffic is already banned between 07:00 and 19:00 Monday to Saturday. New and wider pedestrian crossings will be installed.
