Colin Butcher and Anna Brojer, owners of The Blue Posts, have purchased The Londesborough in Stoke Newington, an iconic Victorian pub established in 1868. The pub holds a rich history, including connections to the infamous Kray twins. Previously managed by the Wright brothers for 17 years, it has evolved into a gastropub celebrated for its wedding services and Sunday roasts. Butcher and Brojer aim to maintain the pub's vibrant atmosphere and character while enhancing its offerings, showcasing their enthusiasm for their new role as custodians of the community hub.
Colin and Anna said: We are delighted to be the custodians of a pub that we very much love and have enjoyed as customers.
Andy Frisby, Fleurets director, added: We are very pleased to have facilitated the sale of the Londesborough, it's a fantastic pub with a unique combination of history, character, and community appeal.
